The investment may be in\r\nexchange for a stake in the company, a loan, or some other type of agreement.\r\nMost often, business angels invest in young startup companies that have great\r\npotential for development and rapid progress in the entrepreneurial world. To\r\nreduce the risk of investing a business angel in a company, these investors\r\noften form associations\/networks of business angels, through which the joint\r\nventures are invested in multiple companies.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Business angels networks in North Macedonia<\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><em>Three business angel networks exist in North Macedonia:<\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>&#8211;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/angelinvestitormk\/\">Association of\r\nBusiness Angels<\/a><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>&#8211;<a href=\"http:\/\/ceed-macedonia.org\/ceed-macedonia-business-angels-club\/\">Ceed\r\nBusiness Angels Club<\/a><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>&#8211;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Business-Angels-Network-of-Macedonia-i2ban-234234466606898\/?%20ref=br_rs\">Macedonian\r\nBusiness Angels Network &#8211; I2BAN<\/a><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><em>Association of Business Angels is lead by its president Mr. Tose Kocevski. The Association has around 15 business angels as members, and has invested in around 5 startups. However, there is no publicly \u0430vailable data as to who are the members, which are the start-ups (there is info that all of the 5 start-ups are in ICT sector). In an interview done by a Macedonian portal with the president of the Association Mr.Kocevski, in these 5 startups, a total amount of 300.000 eur has been invested as BA\u2019s investment.<\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><em>Ceed Business Angels Club is lead by Mr. Jovan Madzovski &#8211; co-founder of the club. This BA\u2019s club is founded in 2014.
