From 2018-2021, he served as president of Startup Macedonia, and since 2021, he has been part of the board of directors, working on improving regulations for startup companies (<a href=\"https:\/\/akademik.mk\/en\/convertible-loan-a-new-opportunity-for-startups-and-investors\/\">introduction of convertible loans,<\/a> business angel law, introduction of a new type of trading company, company with variable capital).<\/p>\n<p>Since 2017, he has been an author on It.mk &#8211; a portal for information technology, where he regularly writes informative content related to <a href=\"https:\/\/it.mk\/author\/dejan-aleksov\/\">regulation, information technology, and the startup community.<\/a> In 2023, he was selected as the <a href=\"https:\/\/therecursive.com\/30-tech-lawyers-from-cee-that-can-solve-your-legal-pains-according-to-our-community\/\">go-to tech lawyer<\/a> by the regional portal for innovations for Central and Eastern Europe &#8211; The Recursive.<\/p>\n<p>Dejan participates in numerous events organized by the community as a speaker or mentor for companies, including events at Startup Weekend, Fintech
