Bio

Artan Memishi, a lawyer at Aleksov & Memishi Law Office. Artan has been a member of the Bar Association of North Macedonia since October 1, 2020, with license number 4575.

He leads the immigration law and rights of foreigners department and also specializes in commercial law, labor law – employment relations, as well as intellectual property rights. As a licensed representative for the protection of industrial property rights, he brings expertise to his clients, guiding them through the complexities of trademark protection, designs, and innovations.

Artan is involved in promoting entrepreneurship and innovation in his community, serving as a mentor at Startup Weekend in Ohrid. His contribution as a mentor reflects his passion for supporting new businesses and nurturing talents, highlighting his dedication to the startup community.

In the field of labor law – employment relations, he advises and represents many national and international companies, especially in the IT sector, providing legal support in drafting complex documents as well as representing them in labor disputes. Artan has worked on more than 100 labor disputes, showing success in representing clients.

One of the focus areas is immigration law and the rights of foreigners. Artan’s expertise includes legal services for foreigners regarding obtaining residence permits and work permits in North Macedonia, as well as acquiring and renouncing Macedonian citizenship.
