Bio

Dejan Aleksov has been practicing law since January 1, 2017, when he founded Law Office Aleksov, which evolved into Law Office Aleksov and Memishi in 2022 through a partnership with lawyer Artan Memishi.

In 2016, along with several co-founders, they registered the non-profit organization Startup Macedonia, aimed at facilitating networking among all startup participants and encouraging their collaboration. From 2018-2021, he served as president of Startup Macedonia, and since 2021, he has been part of the board of directors, working on improving regulations for startup companies (introduction of convertible loans, business angel law, introduction of a new type of trading company, company with variable capital).

Since 2017, he has been an author on It.mk – a portal for information technology, where he regularly writes informative content related to regulation, information technology, and the startup community. In 2023, he was selected as the go-to tech lawyer by the regional portal for innovations for Central and Eastern Europe – The Recursive.

Dejan participates in numerous events organized by the community as a speaker or mentor for companies, including events at Startup Weekend, Fintech Academy, Global Entrepreneurship Week, and more.
